Ladies, join Habitat on May 12th and 13th for two days of women-powered, women-led carpentry training, construction, camaraderie, and empowerment!
Our 12th annual Women Build Weekend promises to be our best yet. We’re gathering dozens of local women, of all skill levels, to come together in the spirit of building more affordable housing. Together, we’ll build an accessibility ramp, sheds for two Habitat homes, and a castle-themed playhouse. You’ll have the chance to learn from and work alongside handywomen and local tradeswomen with decades of experience. Whether you’re into power tools or painting, there’s a job for you!
Can’t join us in May? That’s OK! You can still support these outstanding women with a donation and help us reach our $30,000 fundraising goal. All funds raised through Women Build Weekend, until May 31st, will go towards the foundation and framing of a Habitat home being built in Tompkins County later this year.
