Group Build Days
Bring your group together to build homes, communities and hope.
Service Organizations and Faith Groups
Service Organizations like Rotary, Lions Clubs, and honor societies have longstanding relationships with Habitat, putting their words into action by volunteering with us to make a difference.
Additionally, our local faith community provides opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels to come together in service. Regardless of denomination or tradition, we work alongside people who share a commitment to building a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
When your group or congregation partners with Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties, you’ll come together to make a tangible difference in our community.

School Clubs, Sports Teams, and Student Groups
Whether you’re organizing a service day for your student organization, planning a team-building experience for your club, or looking for a meaningful community service project for your team, Habitat builds bring people together around shared work that matters.
At Habitat, student volunteers come together with all levels of experience — from first-time volunteers to experienced builders — to work alongside families in Tompkins and Cortland Counties. Service opportunities include home construction, home repairs, and off-site activities like shed and ramp builds.
There’s no better team builder than a hands-on work day with Habitat!
